I've been thinking hard about whether to hit Chicago this year. Believe it or not it would be my first audio show. The flight schedule from Asheville makes it very tempting. I can fly direct to O'Hare early Friday and back late Sunday.

I've got a pair of Avantgarde TA's on order. White this time. Now I need to think of a sweet little amp to pair them with. Would love a 300b integrated with a built in DAC that I could pair with an Aurender N100H. Or maybe Aurender A10 with Pass XA25? Hmmm....

I think these are going to be very popular.

Speaker cable from amp for midrange and tweeter. Power cable for bass.

Thanks Mike. That is what I thought but the Fact Sheet mentioned optional XLR connections.

USB is ONLY connected so they can EQ the bass on the laptop at the show.

Mike, Thanks for the pictures. But why the XLR connection and input selector switch? There is no power delivered via XLR. Does the on-board amplifier power all drivers? I thought it was only for the bass driver. That was the reason for your comment about needing a sweet tube amp.
 
You definitely need a nice little low watt amp for mid and tweet. XLR for Hi/low level input for woofer. To have the choice...they have always done this. Uno, duo & trio have also.

I get it now (I think). Speaker cables always required for the mid and tweeter. Input for the bass can be either speaker cables or XLR.

Air Tight ATM-300?

Mike, you should request that they make proper stands (with the knurled knobs for rake adjustment) instead of the current ones, which do not even allow for spikes (only furniture sliders).

I really didn't find any issues using the Zero XD's on my hardwood floors. You adjust take angle using the supplied clear washers.

Neither did I but one wonders if the performance can be enhanced using similar stands like the UNO XD. The current stands are not as rigid.

Hmmm....I quite liked the stands. They worked functionally and visually. But I see what you're saying about Uno XD spikes.
