Aurender N10 is installed

Congratulations on purchasing N10. It's a great piece of gear.

Regarding whether 4TB is enough, I've filled up the internal 4TB HDDs and are now using another 4TB HDD on a NAS with Aurender's AMM. I didn't notice any lag at all when accessing files on the NAS. IMO, there is no need to upgrade the internal HDDs to 8TB provided you are willing to invest in a NAS and associated router, LAN, etc. If you're going this path, you'll virtually have unlimited storage.

Michael.......Thank you. I appreciate the NAS advice. This would probably be the most likely way for me to go should the time ever arrive. I already have the router and network in place so adding a NAS and using Aurender's AMM software would be a simple upgrade. It is good to know that with AMM a NAS will seamlessly integrates with the N10.

I am still going through the break-in process with my Aurender N10. I presently have 103 hours on it as of 8:00 PM EST.
 
Right now the N10 music server has 124 hours on it. By 7:00 PM tomorrow evening it will reach 150 hours. Then I will get serious listening with my reviewers hat on. Once that activity is complete I will gathering my thoughts and write the review, capture some additional photos, then post the review. I estimate one can expect to see the Aurender N10 review by Sunday afternoon. Watch for it.
 
I forgot to remark your good sense letting the Aurender "training" before its fight with the real world.
In my own experience, electronic gear, even the more humble, uses to deliver its best after a considerable (months in extreme cases) time of almost constant runnig. Tube electronics could be the exception.
Can't wait for your conclusive post!
