Has anyone done the shootout yet?

I have…big difference.

Roon seriously sounds broken by comparison.

Isn't Aurender using Airplay, instead of RAAT? Maybe that's the difference?

Are you sure of that? Autender is now Roon-certified.
I am fairly certain that Roon would not issue Roon-ready certification to a component that does not use RAAT.

I, maybe, wrong but I don't think any Aurender uses Airplay. I know mine don't and has to have an ethernet input. I've never seen it in the feature list of other models.

From Aurender: “All Aurender transports and players support Qobuz, Tidal, Spotify Connect, and internet radio. Additionally, they are AirPlay-enabled for playing any audio content from your iOS or Mac device seamlessly.”
That makes sense so that folks can use AirPlay to “cast” their music.

That is interesting I've been all through my settings during ownership and have never seen anything related to Apple. It said "all" so I will have to look into this.

Looks like this may be more of something I do on my device opposed to my ACS10. Seems it's limited to 44.1k as well. Still good to know it's there, thanks for the correction.
