Aurender at Sun Coast Audio

When I and my wife were down visiting my mom in Sun City Center, I made an appointment to meet with Mike at his new audio showroom. This was the first time I had met Mike face to face even though we have spoken and done audio business in the past. Mike really went out of his way to show us his beautiful new showrooms and all the audio candy in them. I was interested in a Aurender N100h as a starting point for streaming and CD burning. I have a Synology NAS but have never been able to figure out how to really use it for the last couple of years that it has been plugged in. Mike took the time to show and explain to us how to easily make it work since he is using a Synology NAS also with a MacBook. My wife took plenty of notes, so now we are eager to give ours a try again when we get home. We listened to the N100h which we did like but my wife suggested that we compare it to the N10 that Mike also had there. After listening to the N10 for a couple of minutes my wife and myself thought that we much preferred the sound of the N10. My wife said to her that it wasn't even close and that we needed to purchase the N10 instead of the N100h as our starter streamer so that is what we did. My wife can justify audio purchases even better than I can. Thanks Mike.
 
Paul.......Nothing like starting at the top. I purchased my Aurender N10 from Mike as well and absolutely love it. I just finished a three hour listening session with the N10 in my studio system. So exhilarating. I think you and your wife made an excellent choice. The Aurender N10 will provide you two with years of audio pleasure. I can easily recommend the Aurender N10 to anyone.

Congratulations on your N10! I own a couple N100H and an N10 and enjoy them all. Sounds like your wife has very discerning listening skills and together you made a stellar choice.

I have a couple of Synology NAS drives I use. For the past couple of years I have used AMM and directed each Aurender to the NAS. I found it to be a very frustrating experience for I could easily sync or rebuild database for one Aurender but when I went to do the others had glitches and errors using AMM. I addressed this with Aurender support. They suggested this is in part why they are coming out with the Aurender Content Server - to create a better user experience. They also suggested I copy my library to each Aurender and use the smart copy feature to add/modify content on each. The NAS remains the central repository. I am pleased with this solutIon and wanted to share it with you. I hope it is helpful. Enjoy your N10...

Congratulations! Mike mentioned what a great time you guys had together. What a wonderful wife you have to share in your audio hobby. All us guys should be so lucky. Enjoy your new toy in great health. Looking forward to your thoughts once it's all setup in your system.

The Aurender N10 I bought from Mike is one of the best purchases I've ever made in this hobby.
