“Mike, why don’t you carry Auralic?”

“I don’t have a good gut feeling about that company. Everything is always in development and half ass baked.”

Meanwhile this morning….

Thankfully people didn't pre-pay tens of thousands of dollars for one only to still be waiting 1.5 years later with no ETA on when their order will ship.

The high end market is difficult. Far too many brands for a niche market. Hardly nobody wants to spend over then 5k for a streamer and they acquire a Wiim instead.

I had one of their bottom line streamers way back. It used their “Lighting” app. It was a PITA, I managed to sell it.

Looks good, sounds OK, but overpriced for sound. And always pitching the next thing before the current one is out the door.

The wages in the USA are much higher then in Europe, and here people spend alot on speakers, and the other parts, are midrange/budget. For many they cannot afford spending 100k euro on a setup, and if they can, the wife has an opinion about that.

Understand your point, when you pay high end you want the best and if not other brands will take the market.

Guess I must've been asleep because I only remember hearing positive things about Auralic. Might have gone for the Aries at one point if they had offered it in a silver finish.
