Nelson...the V12 looks majestic next to the Ref 10! Very nice :audiophile:

Nelson...I think you must be thinking of someone else you were having this conversation with. We have never discussed the looks of the Ref 40 vs Ref 10. My post above was truly a mistake. I wasn't trying to get you to admit anything. But, in any case, whether it's the Ref 10 (which is very nice looking and more importantly amazing to listen to) or the Ref 40 (no longer in production and maybe more pedestrian to look at with the green LEDs), either would be my dream preamps and you are enjoying the primo of the primo gear. So it's all good. :D
