So sorry I couldnt make it this year.

Magico's Polish Distributor Audio Klan had S5 Mk2's paired with Simaudio MOON Evolution series amps in Room 106. Although the room looked well setup, I don't think Simaudio is the best match with the S5 Mk2's..too bright and thin. I would personally prefer Vitus Signature series, Pass XS series, Absolare or Vac IQ amps for synergy.

Why would it sound thin with the moon and not with the others , is the moon a thin sounding amplfier..??? Could be cabling too ....

Wayne, I should qualify that I haven't heard the Simaudio Evo gear with Magico. The demo I heard was with Raidho C1's'. The Simaudio gear sounds like typical Canadian gear (ie: clean, crisp, fairly smooth, resolving), but to my ears sounded thin & a bit bright in the top end. I also got some f'back from guys who attended the show who said the sound wasn't good. But yes, cabling and room issues could have contributed. I think Simaudio gear is really nicely put together, I just don't think of them as having natural synergy with Magico like the lines I mentioned earlier.

Hey Adam (Elberoth), how did the Audio Show in Poland go?

I think it was OK. Still many things to improve - the website is the first one (including one in English).

Some first quotes:

When I first booked in to cover AVS 2016, I had no idea what to expect from it. Now that I’ve been there and done that, I can say with confidence that Poland’s Audio Video Show is poised to become one of the largest and most influential hi-fi events in the world. It has great organization, and insofar as the National Stadium goes, an incredible location. Come in 2017 and see if you agree. I think we’re coming back with a bigger team!

This is the first Warsaw that we at Hifi Pig have attended but we’re so happy we made the effort because it has been undoubtedly one of the best, if not THE best we’ve been to. The people of Warsaw have been wonderfully welcoming, the food and drink has been spectacularly good and the company we’ve enjoyed has been marvellous.

I can get some sleep now, as I was working 20h/24 for the past 3 weeks.

This for me, was a very nice take away .... well done!

By keeping the prices of rooms down to earth, many small manufacturer can participate and this gives them a great opportunity to show their beloved products to consumers and distributors. We must never forget about the micro organisms of our beloved industry as they have as important voice and message as the big ones.
