Today a first test run of the ARC PH6: Hybrid design with JFETs capturing the signal and handing it over to two 6H30 double triode tubes for output amplification.
The PH6 has very good detail retrieval paired with a solid bass, no sign of woolly tube bass here. All in all a very solid performer, not as lush as some of the 12AX7 designs, but packing more punch. Very solid performer indeed.
