Heard some good reports and I've been thinking about it but need a nudge to spend the money.....

I bought a new v2 vs the upgrade. It's a BIG diff and not subtle. A cold out of the box v2 is clearly better than a fully broken in v1. And the v2 only gets better...

The upgrade does not include the component ground system....which helps my amp and pre in my system...others have had mixed results here.

It's a significant upgrade. More noise removed, better dynamics, more focus...

This is great and thanks for your feedback and the link to the previous thread I had missed! That's the nudge I needed and will pull the trigger today. Now of course, after finally making up my mind, I can't wait until it gets here.......

I sold my v1 and bought a v2.
Very happy with the v2.

I upgraded from a V1 to a V2. The process was very quick - less than two weeks. Overall, very pleased with the results - quieter and more dynamic (as others have commented).

I just received my v2 and immediately hooked it up. Of course, everything was cold from all the unplugging but the system has been playing now for about 45 minutes and there is already a huge improvement over the v1, just as everyone has said. It was pretty expensive even after the trade in credit, but its the kind of improvement I'd attribute to an upgrade like a new and way better preamp. Can't wait for it to really break in! Thanks for everyone's help and advise with this.

Congrats ! I bet things will sound a bit better today after 24 hours of being on...
