Anyone ever cross shop/compare the PS Direcstream/Memory player to an Esoteric KX player?

PS Direcstream/Memory player combo compared to Esoteric KX player?

The two box PS stack compared to the Esoteric KX line. For purposes of playing back optical discs only.

Any thoughts? I'd say I have a high resolution and neutral system. So, I'm looking for a for something similar in a disc player. Coming from a Modwright 205. Which is fine but, I just have the upgrade bug and want a more purpose driven audio component. I have no use for the video portion anymore. I'm going to separate my systems (audio and video) in the future.

A new K01X off limits price wise but, not sure how much the new K03XS will retail for?

Correct. Not at the moment. But, the USB port on the KX is nice feature to have.
