Ansuz Cables & Accessories

Before Ansuz did anyone use any hi-end AudioQuest cables? I was curios for a comparison. :)

I have reading and enjoying the original threat and most replies. I have been a follower of Lars and Michel products. I agree, they are great. I still keep the Raidho D3 V2.

I have also tried the following Anzus products: Darkz D, Sparkz, Mainz D, Signalz D, and Speakz D. My personal experience and opinion is that the Darkz D and Sparkz are hard to beat. I've compared them with to many decouplers, feet, isolator, etc and still have them in my system. Dark D are hard to beat with components whose weight is between 5-20 KG. For heavier components I prefer Stabilian.

Regarding the line of cables.... and please consider that these comments are only related for the D version since I haven't tried any other model: I agree with someone's comments that they beat many out there such as Odin, however, when compared to Echole Omnia or Orius, they are second in most aspects. The Echole Omnia and Orius cables are the most coherent, organic, neutral and limitless (dynamics, frequency range, speed, etc) to any other cable line I have had in my system. I don't know what Kerem and his team have done but it is worth to compare them for any other cable. Please don't take my word as fact but If you have the chance to audition and compare them in your system, don't hesitate. I doesn't matter if you are and Odin, Transparent, MIT, Siltech, etc. follower. Your jaws may drop as mine did.

Regards to everyone participating in this threat........

Hello ALL, I'm new here just registered & have couple questions regarding Ansuz power cables & the SparkzTC as I'm planning to upgrade my cables. These following questions might had been asked & answered or discussed before, my apologies to bring it up again.

1. From the reviews seems that the P Level interconnect & power cord are a little bit weak in bass, is it true? I did listen to the P XLR compared to Atlas Mavros, I felt that the bass was better w/ the Mavros with more impact & weight.

2. Since the SparkzTC is an active item, in my opinion there must be a lifetime of the components inside or the TC will last forever?

3. Is it OK to combine the TC with another conditioners or filters OR ONLY the SparkzTC in use for the whole system?

Thank you in advance.

Regards,
Dave S.

Hi Kiwi, I'm new here & have couple questions regarding Ansuz products. My apologies, maybe some of my questions were asked & discussed earlier by other members.

1. From your reviews, seems that the P grade of Ansuz (interconnect & power cable) are a little bit weak on bass, please comment. I had a chance to compare the P interconnect vs Atlas Mavros, and IMO the Mavros had more weight, punch & dynamic in bass.

2. For the SparkzTC:

- Is it OK to use the TC with another conditioners or filters in the same system? Or I must remove all other conditioners & filters from my system to get the best from the TC?

- Is it OK to use the TC with adapter? My power outlet is UK type but the TC available here is in US plug.

- Since the TC is an active equipment, does it have a life time i.e. maybe only last a year or something. Or theTC last forever without any need to replace the inside components?

Thank you in advance.

Best regards,
Dave S.

Thanks a lot Joe, never had this before from another forums.

You are very welcome. I hope someone will answer your questions soon. I don't have experience with those Ansuz products.

Dave, I have a Mainz8 power distributor and 2 TCs in my system, one plugged into the Mainz and the other into the wall outlet that the Mainz in plugged into (dedicated 20A circuit). I've tried the TCs in various places and combination and that's what works best for me. I also have a PS Audio PP5 that I use for powering devices like my PC, LPS, etc. The Mainz has only my preamp and sources plugged in. The combination works fine and I keep the noisiest devices out of the Mainz.

Welcome to the forum Dave.

Happy to respond as follows.

1. I think Ansuz P is good for the money but there is no denying that as you move up the Ansuz range you get more detail, greater weight and simply more music.

2. I've not tried the Sparkz TC in other conditioners but I know of some who have tried and reported favorable results.

3. It is not recommended to use mains adapters. You can only lose by doing that. Best to chose a mains pin standard and use it consistently through the whole system.

4. I am not aware of any published lifespan for the product.

Cheers
Ralph

Thank you Ralph for sharing. My whole system is using UK plug also my wall socket, but the TC available from the distributor here is in either US plug or Euro, that's why I have ti use adapter like the one sold by Hi-End Cable, UK. So are you saying that it's better to get the TC w/ UK plug? Please advise. Sorry about my English.

Your English is fine Dave.

I had a foreign posting to Indonesia long back and I'm aware that many residences use a mains AC plug which is the same as Europe so I'm assuming you changed the wall outlet to UK standard? I've had a look online at the adapter offered by Hi-End Cable (UK) and it looks to be of good quality so I think it should be fine for your needs.

Thank you Kiwi. Yes, I changed the wall outlet in my music room to the UK 3 pins type.

Mainz Diamond TC 2.0m $20,000.00 (Mainz Diamond 2.0m is $15,000.00)
Mainz Diamond TC 3.0m $25,000.00 (Mainz Diamond 3.0m is $20,000.00)

Speakz Diamond TC 3.0m $32,000.00 (Speakz Diamond 3.0m is $21,600.00)
Speakz Diamond TC 4.0m $40,000.00 (Speakz Diamond 4.0m is $27,200.00)

Darkz TA / Diamond per piece $860.00 (Darkz Diamond per piece $600.00)

Hi George, I really am quite content with the sound of the loom of Ansuz Diamond that I have now. I'm willing to bet that the sound of the Diamond TC is special. But at some point you have to decide is present contentment enough or do I peek over the fence just one more time

For now I think that I will plough my own furrow.
