The Elac/Adante room at the LAAS was the one demo that left me shaking my head. Not because it blew away every other demo but for the fact that skill-full engineering with the right resources will easily beat the 'garagistas' that charge 4 and 5 times as more. I'm anxious to hear the final version at a dealer showroom.
We've ordered ours. Delivery is only in August, though... Can't wait!
I guess you'll be my nearest dealer![]()
It'll be a pleasure
Once the new Adante speakers are in, I've also scheduled with the ELAC rep for him to bring in the Audio Alchemy electronics, the ones they've used at the LA Show. Those are reasonably priced (around $1000-$2000), and did an incredible job with the Adantes, as you probably heard. That got me curious, so let's see!!
cheers,
alex
I met Andrew Jones about five years ago. He is indeed very personable, as well as down to earth. We need more people like him in the industry.Mike.......Andrew Jones is quite the personable guy. I enjoyed his relaxed conversation and sense of humor. His accomplishments obviously speak for themselves. Thanks for the link to the interview.

That would be Jana Dagdagan who is a delight to read as well as having a very engaging personality. Her enthusiasm and love of music is apparent in her writing.A breath of fresh air indeed, as is the young lady at Stereophile who puts these video interviews together(and writes informative and humorous show reviews)
