Now when your wife states your system has gotten rather extreme you can show her this.
Amp specs:
Watts: 120,000 into six 20,000 watt Class A amplifier channels
(imagine the electric bill)
Weight: 3,968 lbs. (better reinforce the floor)
Price: 2.2 million
And don't worry if your home isn't large enough as the Opra One has a little brother called DarkBlack, but its only 24,000 watts and only weights 1764 lbs.

This is unquestionably a gorgeous state of the Art Amp features: power input 230/400V 50/60 Hz 450 Amp(400V), six 30 kW triple-insulated toroidal transformers, 16 ceramic diodes 1600V/400A (tot 6400 Amp), 216 Kendeil aluminium electrolytic capacitors 6800uf 160 Volt, 2.112 high current bipolar transistors, 12 analog (RCA/XLR) inputs and six digital, 12 output channels, and 192 speakON connections. It is capable of producing an awe-inspiring 120kW(30kW class A), distortion: THD+N 0.002%, speaker impedance: down to 0.1 ohm, frequency response: 20 – 30.000 Hz - S/N: > 115 dB (20 Hz - 20 kHz A-Weighted 8 ohm) - Input sensitivity: 11 dBu / gain 30 dB. the specs show output configurations of 6 x 20.000W or 12 x 10.000W rms.
I discovered this when as friend sent me a link to some new cables he's considering - Audiomica Laboratory cables. These look rather interesting. http://www.onlycreative.it/partnership/audiomica
