True. I’ve heard lots from Nord to Moola Moola and a bunch in between. I hope the technology gets there one day, but at present, I hear a hard, tonally inaccurate sound. It would be great for Class D to get there. I like carrying Class D amps around instead of Class AB amps!

Try, Spec from Japan. Not quite the Class A experience, but not bad.
