I have heard these very same words before from Bob Stuart "
[h=2]"" The Aftermaster Pro ""The best audio experience.[/h] For the first time you will be able to hear anything audio in a way you've never experienced before. Bigger, clearer, fuller, and vastly more enjoyable.""

Is this a MQA alternative of sorts ?

It's hard to keep up with all of the digital audio "breakthroughs."

I agree Mark, its like a new slice of digital bread is introduced each quarter. Its a moving target for a purchase by a customer, buy now or wait as there will be something new soon. Like a DAC a day keeps the digital misfortunes away. :)

Seems like it could be great for tv audio and maybe some portable audio gear but MQA would be better for home use. And, both don't seem likely to be used together.

I think for very good 2 channel audio a good DAC, and depending on the source being used, a reclocker like the W4S Remedy and Recovery is what will work best.

Its all getting to freaking computer thingy for me. So you buy a external dac, then you need some USB clean up device, right after you bought that external power supply and those fancy power cords and the expensive USB cables and wondering which PC or mac device to dedicate to Hi-rez type of music, along with which music player to add, like JRiver or for those uber super techy types HQPlayer and then its set up along with keeping your PC/Mac going after the new software updates they come out with. And then you need to figure out what darn format you want, and then its copy /rip/zip boom bah and then you got to store all of that stuff that you copied from the stuff you already own. And then you got the music server software and so on and so on, not to mention backups, and the backup backup.

Man I still enjoy that simple needle drop or adding that CD into that little drawer and pushing play. No mess or fuss. But I guess I'm getting old.

And then after all that, you need one of these little remaster thingies to remaster the remastered CD you are trying to listen to so it sounds the way it was intended to sound when it was remastered in the first place. Makes perfect sense.
