Hi all, I have 2 original "fried egg" tweeters for Large Advents. They are orange and I believe they were used in the "New" Advent loudspeakers, although I am not sure. If anyone can use them you can have them just for the shipping cost. I also have a Mod Squad Line Drive passive preamp, same deal.

The "fried egg" tweeters were also used on the original Advent Loudspeaker. Just mentioning this as it will increase the no. of folks that could use these.

rrwmd asked about them first but for some reason I can't respond to either him or housej55 via pm. Sorry housej55 as they got snapped up really quick. rrwmd, I will get them out this week as I have your shipping info. Thanks for the info Puma Cat, that makes sense as they are mid-late 70's vintage. Anyone have use for the Mod Squad Line Drive? This is a Steve McCormack design. The volume knob is probably very noisy with the wipers being dirty as it has been sitting for so long. A few shots of contact cleaner and turning the volume up and down a couple dozen times will clear it out out.
