Elsewhere within Audioshark I explained my return to the audio hobby with a pair of large Advent speakers and an Advent 300 receiver. From that beginning, I'm going to start swapping components until I find what I want to live with for while. I've not been a part of the "modern day tube revolution," but I'm interested.
Do any of you know the Advent 300's preamp well enough to offer advice about a good SET or 300B (or other) tube kit? Oh, I won't be trying to drive the large Advents with a SET amp. I'll find a pair of Klipsch or something with high sensitivity to see how that combination sounds to me
