Acoustic dots

haha! Touché Paul.... :D... dot that.

Who needs a story. Our hobby has a lot of logical science-based engineering and a lot of wiffle dust crap. IMO these are the preeminent poster child for the latter. I can not find a modicum of science to explain their claims and the manufacturer can not and has not either. It's a shameful embarrassment imo and I am drastically restraining my vocabulary relative to how I really feel.

Have you tried the dots yourself?

At one time, science also told us the earth was flat.
I have tried alot of tweaks in my system that did nothing, to my disappointment, but I don't rule out that they could work in someone else's system.
I have not tried the dots either

Anybody familiar with Synergistic Research HFT and UEF acoustic dots?

I attended a Demo of them at a Show--- Nix difference with them in /out--don't waste your hard earned

I actually went to pick up one or two to look closer at when they finished-- the rude dude grabbed them from me without a word-- :badnews:

I'd give them miss

Bruce

I'd follow your advice Bruce.
Many of the "snake-oil" tweaks deal with RFI/EMI interference. If a system doesn't have an issue with this, the tweak would appear to do nothing, compared with the next guy who's system does have those issues. So the lesson is try before you knock it. BUT, many of these products are expensive....I've also noticed a growing trend for manufacturers offering money back policies
