Thanks for that pweg. That helps explain why I am having trouble finding much info on them. A shame they have stopped doing them. The Ayon look nice, I love thier CD players.

The reason they stopped is streaming technology moving forward fast. Small manufacturers, especially those that do not specialise in those kind of devices (unlike Aurender for example) have problems keeping up and their products end up beeing obsolete really fast.

IMO it is much safer to buy a product with USB input, or Ethernet input with UPNP Renderer option right now, and use a separate streamer.

This is still available.
I have heard one of these. One of the best DAC's I've used especially through the coax input, but streamed and usb direct were top notch. My only complaint was the app didn't work well and it was a pain to get it to link to my wifi. Once done it was quite good.

I can imagine the dac section is good. I own an AA Tube DAC II already. A poor app would be a major concern to me especially if it was not kept fully supported and updated by AA.
