How much?
USA pricing is insane. My E650 was half that used and I was able to add the dac and I love it. I’m sure the E800 will be amazing.

The E650 in Japan is around US $ 7850. US retail pricing US $ 18,000. the amps must fly in first class seats :woot:
We know the price in Japan is considerably less, but how is Accuphase priced around the world? Is it closer to the US retail pricing or closer to Japanese pricing? I always wondered this.
Every country in APAC including Australia is cheaper than the US retail prices.
I got my Accuphase c-37 phono stage for a very reasonable price in Australia.
Can't comment on Europe.

Mike, I know it's easy for me to spend your money but the Accuphase line would be a real score for you. I know Luxman kind of covers that territory with it's integrated amps. But from what I've read they (Accuphase and Luxman) don't sound that much alike. Joe would be happy to loan you the coin, LOL!!

I have attempted to contact them with 2 questions and not only was the owner not available but no one returned my calls. Eventually their secretary responded with what I would consider a less than thoroughly thought out reply.
It also shocks me that they charge so much for these products but yet cant be bothered to ship them to Dealers or customers any other way than by "ground" service. This is absurd.

You sure? its possible that the Dealers simply have better margins to work with... although realistically, that's doubtful.

ebay also has Luxman Integrateds selling from Japan way cheaper than US pricing. Not just Accuphase.
