Goes out to vacuum tubes. Today marks the 110th anniversary of the day John Ambrose Fleming submitted his patent for the first vacuum tube!

As Mark Twain said, tales of your death have been greatly exaggerated! Happy birthday and many, many more!

I just wish we could have some American tube birthdays to celebrate meaning we still had American companies making high-quality audio vacuum tubes.

I get nervous sometimes when I think that Putin might be a few more 'adventures' away from having more sanctions slapped on him that could force sanctions on the import of vacuum tubes from Russia. Every tube in my Ref 5SE and Ref 75 is made in Russia.

good point mep, group buy?

I'm hoping that ARC is sitting on a giant stash. But, now that they are part of a conglomerate and the Italians have already raided their stash of spare parts for older ARC preamps and amps to make the Italian G series, they might be somewhere close to JIT inventory for tubes.
