The EAR gear will be en route within a month, but ALL the reviews have been stellar and I think it will be perfect on the TADs (with vinyl, especially)

Joe, you seem to have lots of itches. Haha. I'm just glad I can vicariously live through your journey. Will you be doing all of the hauling tomorrow by yourself?

Time for some Gold Bond huh. I expect the Revels to be delivered and I will hopefully be able to move the boxes in place.
That will be a big haul. 140 pounds shipped. I presume that is each speaker? I hope it's not too hot there tomorrow. You're going to need a cold beer (or 8) for after.

I am glad you are happy. It's great when a system comes together.
You guys might laugh but the Job 225 amp on my Evos is just outstanding. One of my favorite combinations now. The little amp that could.

I heard the EAR gear and it bettered the Accuphase, Levinson, etc. It is really good. The CD player and Preamp vs the Accuphase CD player and Preamp gave the win to the EAR gear. If you want sound that's as good - maybe better than the big boys - EAR is it! I just listen. Joe adds it to his stable.
Put this in perspective. Joe has more Stereophile Class A gear than most dealers! Revel, TAD, D'Agostino, Sonus Faber, etc.

I really think the studio2 will work great in my room. I can always move them downstairs when ready but my gut tells me it will be a smooth and ballsy speaker. My only concern will be very low or late night listening. The TADs are superstars in that respect, bar none. Ultimately I don't see myself getting rid of the TADs for that reason alone unless the Raidho D1s or possibly D2s can overtake the TADs in that department. Time will tell.
He who dies with the most toys, wins. Maybe a few more great pieces and I'm done. I can mix and match to my hearts content.
