Good article. Several themes discussed there. One being that it is so much cheaper to have an audiophile system today than in the past!

The article nails it. My other hobby is cycling. As I always tell people, one hobby keeps me healthy and the other keeps me sane.
 
Couldn't agree more. I'm in my family room/music/recording studio every day. Can't wait to get the rest of my audio system together. Gonna be a long wait to January.

Love my stereo. It brings pleasure to my life whenever I hear it. Adding some beer and medicinal pot makes it even better. :)
 
It's all personal. For some people it is a music and a high end audio system. For others is coke and prostitutes. It's all the same.

Do what you need to relax. Just don't hurt others.

Why? I found the title "the best money can buy" a bit haughty. Since it's very much a individual choice. There is no such thing as "the best stress relief money can buy" everyone makes their own choice and as long as no one gets hurt it's all fine.
