I just swapped out my vintage system. It's now powered by my Marantz 2250 (serviced and 1/4 recapped in the process amongst other things). She's all lit up and everything. I also swapped out my DCM TF-600s for my Polk 7s as they seem to have a touch more synergy with the Marantz than the DCMs. It just seems the output implementation of the Marantz is more suited to the Polks (the circuitry is completely different). (Funny that the DCMs sound better with my Sansui than the Polks).
I also put away my Tascam CD recorder since I'm digitizing the vinyl albums I wanted to do. I'm now actually playing a tape on my swapped in JVC tape deck.:eyebrow:
