Okay, so I needed a spare (backup table) that was full auto. I save my Concept for serious listening but being a manual, I don't play vinyl unless I am nearby so I don't wind up with the scritch scritch scrith of the stylus as it hits the label
So I looked for a rock steady legacy table. Didn't have to be a pretty TOP OF THE Line ...I would do that if it was my main table as I have done before. It needed to be operationally excellent, speed perfect and cosmetically good.
Well, $200 shipped, I did alright with a Pioneer PL-500. These things work flawless. Full auto, PLL quartz locked speed. I put my AT440Mla cart on it (Microline MM) and am enjoy Sade as I type...sounds awesome...excellent separation and soundstage...no IGD...I like it!
