    Paul - did you know Tannoy is in Kitchener/Waterloo? Their entire NA distribution is there.

    Joe...Hear the voice on this LS3/5A with tube...so beautiful.....They still going strong after some what 40 years

    BTW I bought my pair from a guy who owns 16 pairs of LS3/5A - No he is not a dealer.

    Nope it's complete different sounds. If you like voice better trying to look for a 15 ohms. But all around speakers are 11 ohms. Also No bi wiring version.

    When I first read this I thought you asked if the GF (girlfriend) was worth the extra money!

    I don't know though, 38k to 50k is a lot of upgrade. I would find an SE pair and go from there.
