Bruce, yeah, they pulled us back in when we could easily have left them for dead after game 5. Doug, gotta admit, it was fun to watch Gretzky even in his waning years. If you like great goaltending though, you may want to tune in to see the King work his magic!

Lets Go Rangers!
Ok, hockey time!
I'm a Canadian (originally from Montreal), and close to New York. ...I grew up playing 'howk' when just a very young child.
New York (Rangers), I know some, and some more.... Some of my best friends, and Dad's friends, are from New York.
* And for this Series I'm going to sheer up for the Rangers. ...Just for the heck of it, for the heart of it.Last edited by NorthStar; May 16, 2013 at 03:06 PM.

Re: Lets go rangers!
I was watching a great show last week on the curse of the Rangers and how it took them over 50 years to win their 4th cup. I was born and raised on the Rangers and sure would like them to win a 5th cup. But I like the Pittsburgh Pens too. I hope they get to play each other for the Eastern Conference.

Someone on the Rangers has to take care of Zdeno Chara. Nobody goes near him so he does whatever he wants. If they don't put a body on him, he will take charge and dictate the pace of the game.
I'm not saying that they deliberately take him out, just make it a little tougher on him.Bob

Re: Lets go rangers!
I had written the rangers off for sure. I can't believe they won the other night. They finally got a lucky break. Bruins have def outplayed them overall, but this is hockey, so anything is possible. If the rangers win today it will become a very interesting series.

Re: Lets go rangers!
Yup. I'm a diehard Rangers fan, but I call 'em as I see 'em. They were outclassed at every position (except maybe goalie). I didn't expect much of them this year anyway, they were certainly not the team they were last year. However, it is really a shame some of their top players like Nash and especially Richards completely tanked on them. They've got some serious rebuilding to do this offseason: size, grit and scoring. And PLEASE get a power play coach who has a clue about how to get into the zone and set up. Oh we'll, I could go on and on, but....lets go Mets...oh wait, that's not a very good option either. Ok, September is just a few months away and then it's Big Blue time. Go Giants! (Please?)
