Go Hawkeyes!!!

Yeah, the Hawkeyes were pretty dominating. It was one of those games where one team could do little right and the other could do little wrong. Glad Iowa was the latter. All the Hawkeyes losses this year were 5 points or less. And, they had a really tough schedule. But next year's schedule is brutal. Lots of away games to very tough opponents. Every Big Ten Conference team and one non-conference team we play next year, was a bowl team this year. I don't expect a 10 win season next year. They'll be lucky to eek out 6 or 7 wins, if that, with their schedule. But I'm pretty proud of them beating USC like they did. USC is a very tough team and has great talent. But Iowa has been proving a lot of people wrong all season long, including me. Kirk Ferentz always gets the most out of what he has to work with. He's surprised me countless times over the 20 years he's been the Iowa head coach. The Hawkeyes will lose their quarterback (Nate Stanley) but they have some really good talent returning (A. J. Epenesa for one, a good offensive line, and a stable of really good running backs). So, we'll see, I guess.
