Go Eagles!!!

I grew up in Philly. University of Pennsylvania grad, as was my dad, who saw the Eagles win the national championship at Franklin Field against the Packers in 1960:

Tonight was 58 years coming. Great job, Eagles! So proud of my hometown! Now if I could only wash down this victory with a Mama’s cheesesteak in Lower Merion, the day would truly be complete!

Lions roar and Eagles soar. Nature of the beasts.

My father in law was a huge Iggles fan and passed away last year. Immediately I sensed they would win for the sheer irony of it.

Note that I know nothing of American Football, but my intuition was screaming!

Tell me about it Norman. I thought I would never see it. My dad was at the 1960 game. I hope he was watching this from above.

Went to City Hall just to see how packed it would be. I even left home after I thought most people would already be there but the train was still mobbed.

Weird being able to walk down the middle of Market street, and to have the subway simply skip some of the major stops.

Didn't stay long; it was too cold. But the crowd seemed pretty well behaved where I was.
