Totem Tribe Tower
Has anyone heard these? I see they are small floorstanders utilizing a 1.3” soft dome and two 4” bass drivers. Very small footprint. Sounds like something my modest sized sound room would easily accommodate. Always admired Vince Bruzzese and Totem products. Not sure about the “Claw” though. Am skeptical about getting real bass from a 4” driver. Any thoughts ?

Re: Totem Tribe Tower
Doubt you would get the bass you are looking for but you might from the Sky Tower or the Hawk.

Re: Totem Tribe Tower
I think Totem makes nice speakers. The mani-2 was one of the best/most fun monitor speakers I've heard.

Re: Totem Tribe Tower
Thanks for sharing, guys. Got the October 2018 issue of the Absolute Sound today. Page 131 looks like an add for the Tribe Towers. I know the physics are aganst me, but these look like a floorstander which would fit my sound room perfectly. I have been searching for two years now for a speaker to acommodate my “scaled down” digs. I think it is more important for the speaker to fit the room than any other parameter. I would gladly live with 4” bass drivers if the room synergy was optimum. Now if Vince Bruzzese used a transmission line (or an Isobaric) loading decent bass could be possible. I would still like to hear the speaker that started it all for Totem. Now the Signature One.

Re: Totem Tribe Tower
Hi, first post on Audioshark. I heard the Tribe Towers at TAVES in Toronto last year. They are amazing, with a really wide sound stage. They are one of those speakers that seem to defy the laws of physics. Beautiful too.

Re: Totem Tribe Tower
Dear Tangram: Thanks for the response. Maybe you can give me a little more indepth idea of tbe fabric of the bass. Vince Bruzzese claims the two four inch bass/mid drivers simulate a 30” woofer. A bit of hyperbole I assume.
Did you hear any vocals through them ? I am a female vocals nut. I am guessing that the 1.3” tweeter could result in a lower crossover frequency. Taking some burden off the 4” drivers.== Joe ==

Well, I want to share an experience about possible break-in... I have my k03-xd for about 1 year now and recently got into playing a lot of CDs (incl. SACD) which I might have done about 50 times...
