Suggestions for high end speaker stands?
Looking for a little help. High end speaker stands are hard to come by. Most high end standmount speakers tend to have optional stands from the manufacturer.
However, with a new speaker we're bringing in, the stand from the manufacturer won't be available for a long while yet. The speaker itself has a base of about 9" x 14" and 44 lbs, so needs a pretty substantial stand.
I see the stand for the Magico A1 is made by Soundanchor. They could be a possible option, but anything else? I'm not overly fond of the aesthetic despite their performance. We had designed our own stand in the past and built one pair and loved the sound, but getting it made for a reasonable amount with high quality finish was proving difficult.
So, any suggestions for a high end stand that can handle a substantial speaker? I'm thinking under $2K USD retail.Everest Audio

Re: Suggestions for high end speaker stands?
Thanks for the suggestions so far. I was aware of most of these ones.
The speakers have a modern look and come in white, black and some other possible colours with high quality finish, so wood stands just wouldn't look right. Ideally satin-black would be great and something that has a substantial top plate size. Also, looking for something of a more high-mass design that can be mass loaded. Thanks!Everest Audio

Re: Suggestions for high end speaker stands?
The Acoustic Zen Adagio Jr. speaker stands are quite strong with a wide top, and come in a nice smooth black finish (no visible wood grain). They're made of wood and are not hollow so cannot add additional mass, but might match what you're looking for otherwise. TMR has some good photos from an old listing.

Re: Suggestions for high end speaker stands?
That stand definitely has the right kind of aesthetics and dimensions. High mass was something I was looking for. This bookshelf speaker starts at $14K USD, so is worthy of the best stands available.
Here's a picture of our own stand which we developed, but since we ran into production issues, we haven't pursued trying to build them again. It had 2" x 8" columns which allowed for an incredibly solid stand when mass loaded. This is just shown as an example of the kind of stand that could work. I actually sold this pair with the pair of Special Forty in the picture as they were a great fit for the customer.

Re: Suggestions for high end speaker stands?
I think the Sound Anchor actually works pretty well with the somewhat industrial look of the Magico A1. A pretty nice combo. But, with the speakers I'm looking to match, visually it wouldn't be that great.

Re: Suggestions for high end speaker stands?
I've almost always used standmounted speakers in my room as the room is small. Sure, the speaker and stand will take up as much space as a full size speaker, but the floorstander will typically overload the room. The high-end standmounter with sub(s) works well for many in my situation.

Re: Suggestions for high end speaker stands?
Okay, Noel from Skylan Stands has definitely stepped up his game since we last used his stands. He has just finished a new design and has sent us a pair for the Vimberg Amea. There's a dual base with dampening material between, the pillars are improved, he now dampens the metal rods that are used in the assembly and more. We'll now carry this model specifically for the Vimberg Amea. It's a 24" stand with an 8"X10" top plate and the bottom plates are 12"X13". Note: Soundcare Superspikes are being used in the picture and can be supplied for additional cost.

I upgraded the power supply on my Gigafoil v4 to a Weiss PSU 102. It’s very nice step up. But with the new model, you’re looking at $2000 before even investing in a SOTA linear power supply.
