Re: Raidho X-3's with tube amps
I've owned 3 pairs of Raidho loudspeakers and tried them with various solid state and tube amplifiers. My personal preference was solid state amplifiers as these tended to provide better bass definition, more snap and incisiveness. Raidho speakers tend to have tube friendly impedance characteristics but lowish sensitivity. In the finish though only your ears and thoughts on the combination matter.

Re: Raidho X-3's with tube amps
I'm using a JL Audio crossover/subwoofer for the deep bass (<50Hz) on my Raidho's. It's the first time I've heard really palpable bass with any speaker I've owned other than the IRS Beta's in the late 80's. In addition to the bass improvement, the crossover relieves the stereo amplifier and Raidho's of having to produce challenging and resonating deep bass resulting in improved mids and highs. You do have to be precise with positioning and phase alignment, but the JL techs helped me with this.

Well, I want to share an experience about possible break-in... I have my k03-xd for about 1 year now and recently got into playing a lot of CDs (incl. SACD) which I might have done about 50 times...
