I would say the Summit Xs for one of the best transparency, imaging and killer bass response. By the way it has that mid range to die for too!

They are a special set of speakers indeed. Some say they have the best midrange in the world. Many say they perform with speakers twice their price....if you pay for them twice....

Obviously not kids around. The irregular shaped room and glass wall won't do any favors for the acoustics either. Looks like an apartment in Asia.

Re: My beloved the Harbeth speakers is gone...Now what ?

    Is that D3's vs C2.1?

If I was able to buy Raidho speakers, I would have a heck of a time figuring out which ones to get too. The D3's are just amazing but the D1's are fantastic little monitors as well. And then you have the C1.1 which doesn't give up much to the D1's. Maybe the best way to choose one would be to pin pics of the ones you like to a wall and just throw a dart. Really can't go wrong...

Play those VA's of yours, you will find your second pair of speakers in rightful time. You're just trying to force the issue, no good decision can be taken that way. Shall I mention IB2i..........

Jack , Yes I did. I only had a PMC big boy so can't compare with it.however compare to Harbeth's PS3 or C7. the 3XL was stood well against them. It was very dynamic and couldn't believe the bass coming out of the box . It was better than either one of Harbeth but Again the Mid was not quite good as the Harbeth.

Still think it's a shame that you cannot hear the Reynaud's in Canada. Really odd since they are a French speaker company. I think the Offrande Supremes would be right up you alley. I am waiting on delivery of the Vandersteen Treos now, but still think that later in the year I may order a pair of the Offrandes from Bob at Amherst. Since I owned a pair of the earlier versions for four years I know what their sonic signature is. Plus they love tubes and I have two sets of tube amps to run them with and they are 90db efficient.
