    MBL 111F speakers

    what is your opinion about the MBL 111f?
    Vitus monoblocks can drive them?
    the Vitus are 100W class A

    I'm a BIG fan of MBL in the right room (!!). I don't think the 100w of the Vitus can drive them efficiently. At 80db (and confirmed by John Atkinson's measurements), you would be wanting a lot more power IMO.

    Wow, 80 dB. No wonder their amps at the show are so huge. They do get them up to a serious SPL as well,

    The 111F's are wonderful speakers. IMO nothing in their price point could touch the sound of these units.

    I will say they require amps that can deliver plenty of power and I don't just mean watts. I was using McIntosh 1.2k's but when I brought home some 300 wpc D'Agostino Momentum's the improvement was significant.

    For that scenario, there is this bad boy. According to the official specs, the MP-S201 conservatively outputs 50 watts Kl.A and 1400 watts Kl.A/B @4ohms ..
