    Kharma DB7S

    Hi folks,

Any thoughts about the Kharma DB7S or if anyone listened to them ? My dealer had them in the shop before and can vaguely remember them but what still stood in my mind are the double 7” drivers which produced a better low end performance than that of the Kharma S7S.

    Thanks in advance.

It's so hard to go wrong with any of their speakers. Honestly, the Kharma, Vandersteen, Tidal, Harbeth and Rockport are some of the best sounds I've heard. I realize that all of those sound so different from each other, but they all have a common thread in that I can listen and love for hours. My buddy is currently reviewing the 100k Kharma's for TAS. I can't share his thoughts, but they make excellent speakers.

They are really good and highly reviewed. I always enjoy the Kharma’s at the shows.

I am placing the Kharma DB7S alongside the Rockport Atria II as my final 2 pairs after listening to so many good speakers over a period of 1 year.

Great choices Bob. For me, I'd have those two and the new Vandersteen's in the conversation. Very few in that price range are better. They will sound different, but they all sound differently.
