    Awesome!
The very first pair of quality speakers I owned were Yamahaís from the mid 80ís.
Please share some pictures and listening impressions once you have them set-up.

Iíve been eyeing Yamaha gear for a long time. I want their new top A-S3200 but keep chickening out. I had an awesome Yamaha receiver in college. I loved that thing.

Let us know how the speakers sound. Iím curious.

Well, didn't realize the photo was that large so had to redact some info.

I've owned a whole bunch of speakers and these have always intrigued me, they could be quite the jewels as I believe they'll be very transparent and honest.

I've been wondering if these would be an upgrade from my Harbeth 40.2 speakers.

The Piano Black color is gorgeous!

I have this sweet A-S501 heading up the system in our bedroom. Great sounding unit. I've always loved Yamaha gear and had some other models in the past.

Upgrade? only you can decide that... but they'll definitely sound different. I have owned the 40.2 Anni. and even those were noticeably different from the standard 40.2's

I may not get around to unpacking these for a little while, currently have 3 sets of speakers with a fourth incoming. Have to decide which I'm going to sell and clear up some room.

Music direct? I was tempted to try them, but afraid i'd like em and be stuck with another pair of speakers...I'll wait til a used pair comes around.
