Harbeth Super HL 5+ 40th Anniversary Model Speakers vs Harbeth Super HL 5+ HD Model
Are these the same speaker? I think I read somewhere that they are. I know the 40th Anniversary versions of Harbeth speakers have been discontinued. They were a limited production speaker. The Harbeth Super HL 5+ 40th Anniversaries are killer sounding speakers, BTW. VERY sweet sounding and well balanced speaker. Superb mids and top end with nice, tight, bass.

Re: Harbeth Super HL 5+ 40th Anniversary Model Speakers vs Harbeth Super HL 5+ HD Model
From what I understand, the new XD incorporate the slight changes that were introduced in the 40th Anniversary models (mostly crossover tweaks and upgrades). While the 40th Anni also had WBT binding posts, I don't believe they are on the XD series? Mike?

Re: Harbeth Super HL 5+ 40th Anniversary Model Speakers vs Harbeth Super HL 5+ HD Model
I read a review that said if you own the Anniversary speakers, there’s really no need to get the XD series. But upgrading from an older series will be beneficial.
I definitely want the 30 XD and would love to hear the 40 XD.Fleetwood Deville by Oswald Mills Audio, Vienna Acoustics Haydn Jubilee, Wharfedale Linton w/ stands, Klipsch RB-75, Klipsch RP-160M.
