It has been way too long .... SF Evolutions ...
I can't remember how long it has been but I hooked up my Evos again. For the first half hour or so they were a little reserved, but now they sound wonderful again. I had forgotten how sweet they are to listen to. Vocals to die for and wonderful midrange. Sure the bass isn't like the studio2 or TADs but wonderful speakers. Makes you forget about the gear and just enjoy your favorite music.

Mark. I did like it but not good enough to replace the VA music though. I'm just not sold on aluminum enclosure or cabinets. I don't mind on gears but not on speakers. Just my honest opinion.

Re: It has been way too long .... SF Evolutions ...
Actually Angie (Angie's Audio Corner) did a very good job of physically placing them as the bass is full and not round, and she did so in about an hour. I'm just playing with the heads, you move the heads by 2 mils and the coherence, focus and stage can changes dramatically. Overall very impressed by that speaker. Uhmmmmm, should start our own The Music thread!

"The Musik"
I'll be there fo sur too.
Yes Joe, right on! ...Because when we're talking about a certain subject, a topic; the discussions can be totally fascinating when they also encompass comparisons, relations, music, love, and anything else of informative and friendly content.
That's how people truly 'evolve'. ...Pun intended (SF Evolutions).
- I don't like it when you are enclosed like an enclave in a vise and that you cannot move freely around.
{I've seen too many audio forums where the mods and owner/founder(s) are totally shortsighted, and they restrict interesting discussions; it's not healthy at all.}

My contribution to the SF thread, the Evos are to my ears the best current production SF product I have listened to. Like them better than the Futura and Aida . Something about the bass in the current crop of SF full range I don't get, what can I say.
