Amati Homage Tradition v Il Cremonese
Has anyone listened to the new SF Amati Tradition and compared to the Il Cremonese?
Some recent reviews of the Amati, which are glowing.
I had the pleasure of auditioning both, powered by an AR Ref 6 and a Pass Labs X350.8. It was a short audition and the dealer was unable to play any of my music, but I left not knowing which one I preferred. My mate has his heart set on the Il Cremonese, but I am not so sure it is worth the additional dosh. Of course, I am trying to persuade him to demo the Magico S3 mk2s or S5 mk2s, but he has his heart set on SF (and they do look freakin sexy!).

Yes...it makes for a BIG improvement. Every demo I've heard where at Altaira was in the system, folks listened, and then the Altaira(s) were removed, and folks immediately demanded the Altaira be put...
Altaira or Gemini CGS on...
