I not an expert but Clock cables are designed for either 50 or 75 ohm signals. Normally clock cables are terminated with BNC connections. I have read that SPDIF connectors do not handle 75 ohms.

It’s my understanding that there is no difference between the 75 ohm clock cable and the spdif cable when the latter is terminated with BNCs. I’m using an Alpha v1 spdif between my REF10 and an EtherRegen and a 50 ohm Delta v2 clock cable between my REF10 and my Gustard X26pro DAC.

And a 75 ohm clock cable is identical to a 50 ohm clock cable, except for the connectors. Same cable, different connectors.

The 50 ohm clock cable priced higher than the 75 ohm cable in both the Delta v2 and Alpha v2 lineups. It's $750 vs $500 for the Delta v2 and $1200 vs $1000 for the Alpha v2. That's only for the connectors?

These are produced using their *Precision Matched Impedance cable geometry. I don't really understand this enough but I would have though that the geometry would have had to be adjusted for the differing impedance.
