Question regarding Sigma v2 vs Omega powercord to DCS Rossini

    Caelin,

I’m thinking about an upgrade for the power cord powering my new DCS Rossini DAC? I’m wondering if that would yield a significant improvement? I’m now running my DAC with a Sigma V2 and a Sigma V1 to my Rossini Clock.

In my system, would an Omega power cord to my Rossini DAC give a significant upgrade for my DAC and swapping my Sigma V2 to my Rossini Clock to replace my Sigma V2?

Your input is most appreciated as usual.

It would be convenient if there was a dealer who was prepared to loan you cables to try so you can find out for yourself what works best in your system.

Rent one in and find out for yourself in your own system.

I usually audition a cable or component in my system before making a commitment, but I also like to hear from others who might have made such a comparison too.

@RLF I just ran across your question about a power cable for your Rossini. I was amazed how much better the Shunyata Omega QR-s cable sounds vs. the Shunyata Alpha v2 NR cable. The gap may be closer with your Sigma v2.
