Delta NR v2 — put it on my sub or streamer/DAC?

I ordered an Alpha NR v2 for my integrated, so now I get to find a new home for the Delta NR v2 that was on it.

Would I be better off putting the Delta on my Rel sub or my Lumin streamer/dac? Both are currently using a Wireworld PC.

Probably both. Start with the sub. I think it will stick on your DAC/Streamer.

    Hi there,
interesting to hear your experience. Might do something similar and have to decide on whether to upgrade my Aurender or REL first, if I have a spare power cord.

If I were to pick between a subwoofer and a DAC on where to put my better power cord, it will undoubtedly be the DAC

A great PC for the sub would be the Venom HC V2.

Don't discount that PC.....it's really good.

Thanks, all. I’ll try it with the DAC first once the new cable arrives.

Curious why you recommend an HC on the sub when most of the guidance I’ve seen says HC’s on power distribution units and NR on everything else.

The Alpha HC was intended for amplifiers and power conditioners. It had a heavier gauge and a different kind of filtering compared to the Alpha Analog and Alpha Digital which made it a better choise.

Yes, of course, that's the optimal way to go with PCs. My comment was premised on the thought that if there were budget constraints (which most of us have), and one wants to put an NR PC on the DAC (which would benefit the most from the higher spec NR capability), but would still like to have the benefit of an excellent PC for the sub (which would really benefit from a good PC), the Venom HC V2 is an excellent value. At ~$295, I've not heard a better cord at its price point.
