    Show me your rack

    Hi😎!
Im looking for racks to put my growing pile of CD's & DVD's.
I'd like it to have doors or drawers to keep them clean and dust free.
If you would, please post a picture and or link.
    Thank you!

I don't have these, bit Can Am may fit your bill. A bit pricey, but built to last.

Thanks for a shot of your rack, looks very expensive, is there a lot of maintenance & upkeep?

    Re: Show me your rack

I'm attaching a couple of pictures of my new racks - Artesania. I set these up over the last several weeks as my wife and I moved in to our new home in Sarasota, FL. Really appreciate Mike Bovaird and John Chait for lending their ears and expertise to help me dial in the room.

The racks are a recent purchase from Suncoast Audio.

Yes, it is Audio Philar. The model is Signature Series. If ever I go for the pre/power, would definitely buy the amp stands to match! Cheers!

Shhhh, not yet. First, have to look for space. No space, no talk. Cant be cramping everything into this small room. Vinyl collection overflowing onto the floor. Now asking carpenter if its viable to build me another 3 tier rack, which would seriously take up a portion of my already very small room.

So, biding my time ..... Sos sorry Paul to disappoint. Unlike you, I have plenty to consider while you have all the free play. Really admire you!

Wilson Alexia - Used, one year old - as I sold off the Raidho D3.1. Makes music with the Devialet. I was wondering, but did dropped off the idea for Alexia 2. No more chasing. Be happy and when the whole combo gets real old, will change to the Vintage I have always dreamt about.

Pangea Audio Vulcan - Inexpensive, looks pretty decent, well made, solid and sturdy, does the job.

Here is mine...it is made from 1 1/2" thick Mahagony and pine for the top, and sides. 1/2" Mahagony veneered MDF for the shelves with a 8020 rack for the mainframe. I am using 1/2" aluminum rods for the support of each shelf. I am waiting on a few more 8020 slide in nuts so I can add a shelf or 2 more.

    Re: Show me your rack

Installed this weekend. Built locally (not by me) from local windfalls of Claro (California) walnut trees. Despite no stain, note the dramatic color change as I start applying the first coat of Osmo Polyox-Oil (satin). Heat shield is to protect the wood and finish in case I move into a "hot" amp. Shield is 14"x20" aluminum flashing backed by 1/8" Amarin felt insulation rated to 600 degrees. I do not know or care what the "R" factor is. I think it will be more than adequate since the large aluminum surface helps to dissipate heat.

Rack color is darker and more red than in the pictures. My walls are light tan, not white, and so are the darker parts of the floor tile. For some reason my Nikon always washes the color out. Maybe someday I will find the instruction manual and see if there is a correction.

Beautiful craftmanship. The joinery is elegant and reminds me of the Box Furniture racks. Very well-done.

That is truly wonderful work and gorgeous wood. Looks better than any of the all-wood racks I've seen available on the market. You've avoided awful square or round cross-section posts, which are ugly as heck for wood imo.
