The new Focal Sopra n°2 looks like a fine offering from Focal at the right place in their lineup. I am particularly fond of the walnut veneer look. I also appreciate the 91dB sensitivity and 8 ohm impedance. The two 7" woofers, a single 6.5 inch midrange driver, and the inverted dome Beryllium tweeter in a slim cabinet will integrate well into almost any room in a typical home environment. The price point is very inviting as well ($13,995). I predict Focal will sell boatloads of these speakers.

You are right Dan - that's the (good) problem! I ordered three pairs and they were gone as fast as you could blink. I have a customer coming over Saturday morning for a listen.

The No. 2 is excellent, but so is the No. 1 as a stand mount.
The price point is definitely spot on.
I saw all the speakers in all the finishes and the red is a stunner.
