I just posted in the Music forum. I did not see this , sorry.

Yes, BB King made great contributions to music and made the blues popular with many, including the youngsters.
    He will be sorely missed.

I had the extreme pleasure to meet two of the best bluesmen. One was Muddy Waters and the other of course was BB King.

R.I.P BB You gave us so much. Your music will never be forgotten.

I saw BB KIng open for the Stones…1969 at Madison Square Garden, the concert that became "Get Yer Ya Ya's Out"…..Rock and Roll history….Ike and Tina Turner and Janis Joplin. "Ah think I've busted a button on my trousers, I hope they don't fall down" he teased the audience. "You don't want my trousers to fall down, now do ya?"

I saw him a few years ago in Bloomington, IN, when he was obviously past his prime. However, he still put on a great show. BB could no longer stand up when I saw him, and he only played his guitar in brief spurts. It would have been great to see him in his prime, but I'm damn sure glad I did get to see him live. RIP BB.

There's something very touching when seeing a great artist near the end of their time. Your post reminds me of a concert seeing Odetta shortly before she passed. She did the show in a wheel chair and shared the stage with Hugh Masekela. Great memories.
