Joe/Mark...I believe Jeff either still or ised to have these in his listening/demo room and either sold or is trying to sell them to make way for the Joseph Audio speakers he brought in. I am sure he can share thoughts on them and/or give you a good deal on them Joe if he still has his demo pair (if you are really interested although not sure why you would be given that you own one of the best speakers out there ). Hope all is well gents.

I heard these PMC speakers in an all Naim setup. I thought they sounded terrific! Very dynamic, neutral, with a precise imaging. Yet sounded very smooth and musical. They are pretty big though and fairly utilitarian in appearance (ala Harbeth) but I would still love a pair someday.

I was having a brain malfunction moment again!! I decided I was going to sell them but that was before I finished all the room treatments and the final room layout.....there was a small problem in the low freq. range but since the completion of everything there sounding better than ever. I cannot part with them plus Dewey wants to try out his new fire extinguisher

Bob... I missed this one. Thank you for the link. However it will be impossible for me to find the place who will carry that speakers.

The PMC IB2i is in my avatar

I'm just having a dilemma to getting this speakers or go back to the Harbeth SHL5 as my sub speakers.

    * My biggest concern is how to switch back and forth two giant speakers....especially the Music speakers.

Last time I was positiong my speakers so I unscrewed the spike and move it and put it back on few times and that causing the screwed up the thread and cost me $1000 to replace them.

Anybody has a better idea to move the heavy speakers around ?????

I used the slider and the spike made a hole ( on the pad and plastic ) so it was useless.

Try these Paul. They're Herbie's Giant Spike Decoupler Glider(s). I bought them to try and tame the excessive bass resonance of my D3s. FWIW they didn't make a difference for me but I would imagine they would make sliding your speakers around much easier.

They're meant to slide around. I suppose it would depend on how plush your carpet is. I know they'll work better than spikes .

I wasn't a fan. I heard them twice. John at Audio Salon sat with me at the RMAF demo. Maybe he can weigh in here....I think he liked them.....???
