I have a anodized blue pair coming in June or July. Rep said it was cool with the Centaur amps because it was the same color blue as the status light. What can I say, I'm easy.

    But

Honestly that BRIGHT blue light on the Centaur is obnoxious Unless it dims and I didn't know it.

Maybe, but the blue on the speakers might look cool. I placed the order for blue but I may change it to the candy red. I go back and forth daily. Since they are so behind I have plenty of time to change it. I may go orange by then, who knows. Pearl white would be cool also.

The blue looks great on S5s. It would be even better on S3s.

    Re: Centaur Stereo Amp

Mark, I'm amazed at how many amps you've tried and still go back to the Classe's. That speaks volumes. However sometimes when you hear something that suddenly does more than any other amp did, it's hard to let it go. Those are the times when you realize you need to make a move.

    Re: Centaur Stereo Amp

I agree Doug. I want to hear the Magico S3's. If I keep my Salon 2's, I will buy either the Constellation or one of the new Pass .8 series amps. Hopefully David will be getting some Pass amps next month.
