Lumin T2 Question about DSD 512 for Mr. Wie
I've owned a T2 about a year and am very happy. I just became a Roon adopter. Do you recommend using the T2 or my SonicTransporter Roon server to upsample to DSD512?
thanks for your time.

Chris, the T2 upsamples to DSD512. I just want Mr. Wie's opinion which way would be best when using the Roon interface.

I have the T2 but have never used upsampling. It sounds great as it is.
Wonder if it's worth it when playing cd quality?

Re: Lumin T2 Question about DSD 512 for Mr. Wie
Showroom....I prefer the upsampled DSD512 sound, more detail and spaciousness with my equipment, a PrimaLuna tube integrated amp. I stream all my music through Qobuz and have an outboard SSD plugged in with my CD collection. Your ears are undoubtedly different than mine.

Re: Lumin T2 Question about DSD 512 for Mr. Wie
Not according to Peter on another site. It will work with ROON doing the 512..
"
Lumin optionally does internal re-sampling for X1 / T2 / U1 / U1 MINI from/to up to DSD128 only.
To upsample DSD512 re-sampling for playback by Lumin, please try Roon.
