Just cycled 25 km through some rough terrain in the woods, and now I’m going to barbeque a nice filet for my family.

Put in a new circuit and off the sub panel, installed new smoke and carbon alarms in the home, and since was a nice weather day I went for a bike ride.

Now gonna spend some family time then crank some tunes!

This is kind of a Cosmo, but with lemon instead of lime and an additional shot of pineapple juice. So it kinda isn’t.

    I call it Vodka Quarantini.

I invited 6 good friends down from Portland, Me. for the weekend. Fortunately they didn't have any problem getting a flight to Tampa. Maybe because it was a oneway ticket.

Lobster rolls, beef tenderloin, coleslaw and some porter.

    Re: Corona Buster

If you happened to enjoy looking at my friends, sans steaming, maybe Sunday lunch leftover for one small roll might help your taste buds?

I would suggest Maine Lobster Now. They have the least expensive lobster online that I have found and it comes out of Portland.

A $100 purchase which could be 6, 6-7oz tails at $19.95 ea and it includes next day FedEx even for Saturday delivery.

If you have never made them, less is more. Steam the tails for 7 minutes. Put them on ice in the fridge until cool. Cut them down the back on top and pull the meat out. Turn it over and at the end of the tail slice open and remove a small darker colored vain it is the digestive system. Many people don't remove it and it won't hurt you. I just prefer it out.

Cut the lobster to what ever size your prefer. For 6 tails add a teaspoon of lemon, 2 table spoons of Cains Mayo if you have it, if you don't your normal mayo with a bit of salt. That is all. Stir it up and put it in a Pepperidge Farms top sliced bun that (you should be able to find in the grocery store) was buttered on the outside and toasted on a hot grill. Trust me you don't need anything else.

cut grass (2nd time), aerate and overseed the lawn, spend some time at the loading bench(shotgun shells) and then enjoy a Manhattan or two before dinner. Getting a little nervous, while I have plenty of whiskey I'm getting low on vermouth .......

Dave, there are times in life when you have to weigh out the risk rewards.

I say strap on that facemask and head off to your local supplier.

Here in Florida our ABC liquor stores have curbside pick up when you call in an order.

sometimes you just have to do what you have to do. Be careful my friend.

Dave, Trainos is still open in Marlton NJ but unsure if they are checking PA cars in Jersey.

I am headed to Promised Land in the Poconos in 2 hours to freeze my ass off. Wont be many people around up there but the out house is gonna be chillin. No plumbing or running water, pump in the yard. Wood/Coal burning stove in the kitchen. No Internet.

Cheers and try not to go nuts during lockdown.

It really surprises me that in IL liquor stores are allowed to remain open having been designated as essential businesses. Maybe that has something to do with all the tax revenue they generate.

Liquor stores are open in Colorado. Curb side service available in many cases.

I believe the thinking is that its likely not wise to cut off peoples' alcohol without causing an entirely different health care crisis (detox) that also could impact hospitals at the same time as COVID.

You can buy liquor at the grocery stores here in Washington, and have it delivered by Amazon, used to be same day but not sure if that has changed

I remember driving Donna's father back to Michigan from Florida one year. We unknowingly stopped at a hotel that was in a dry county though I don't remember what state.

We went to have dinner and when we found out my father in law looked at me and said the county line is not that far away. We excused ourselves from the waitress and got back in the car.

Staying out of trouble building a pair of Line Array speakers for an electrical engineer friend.
These panels hold the 6 mid hybrid magnetic panels designed by Bruce Thigpen. The tweeter is by Mundorf and the pair of super tweeters are from the Netherlands. I have forgotten the name.
He has separate bass modules and subwoofer that he has designed the cabinets and built the crossover networks.

The panel is 1 1/4" MDF with Cherry veneer front and back, dyed black inlay and solid Cherry for the edging on both panels and bases.

I will put pictures of the process in the DIY section over the next few days.

That is crazy that they closed the liquor stores. It is very dangerous for chronic alcoholics. They will go through withdrawal and can have life threatening seizures by about day 3. Many will end up in hospitals that are filled with covid patients.

The did the same thing in Colorado until alcoholics started showing up at hospitals in withdrawal and seizures. They eventually opened them up again.
