Re: What are you listening to tonight ?
Kokoroko - self titled, 4 songs, technically a EP I suppose, the first song is energetic but the other 3 are smooth, nice listen.
Sauti Sol - African Sauce. I enjoyed this, sort of Pop/R&B
Layale Chaker - Inner Rhythm. Instrumental, really good recording, like maybe recorded live, violin, piano, acoustic bass, etc.
I've really been hitting the World music on Tidal this weekend, some seriously good stuff there.Aurender ACS10 w/Audioquest Diamond USB, Esoteric N05xd

Re: What are you listening to tonight ?
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here playing from the SSD drive
Years ago we there was a regular laser show at the Seattle Center, and not sure if it’s even still there. Bean bags on the floor, laying and watching the lasers doing there thing to various albums. We would go check out different nights, but the big one was Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon - nostalgia at its best!

Chon - self titled, 2019
Strangely I ran across this in the Metal genre, I'm not sure why, it's more like Fusionand SQ is good. The musicians are outstanding. It would be right at home in the Jazz section.

Re: What are you listening to tonight ?
Elvin Jones, "Elvin!".
I believe this is my first record from this label. They have put out several series of records that feature artwork by specific photographers. This particular album is from the William Claxton series. These are not always the original artwork from the original releases, but standout photos from Claxton. The packaging is excellent and the 180 gram records are very silent. I understand that the company uses hi-rez digital for their source and I have to say this one sounds very very nice.
